Endrju je obećavajući 19-godišnji bubnjar sa Menhetna. Ali, on ne želi da bude samo muzičar. Uplašen je očevom sudbinom, koju je doživeo kao pisac, pa strahuje da je taj osećaj “luzerstva” nasledan…Zbog toga on vežba naporno, dok mu ruke i bukvalno ne prokrvare.
