Uzbudljiva naučnofantastična priča smeštena u bliskoj budućnosti, o prvoj misiji na Alfa Kentauri koju preduzima multinacionalna Ederlezi korporacija.
Ederlezi angažuje Milutina, kosmonauta slovenskog porekla, koji je trening prošao u nanovo formiranom futurističkom Sovjetskom Savezu, a kao družbenicu mu dodeljuje Nimani, ženskog androida programiranog da ispuni sve Milutinove želje. Pošto mu dosade beskonačne seksualne igre i Nimanino unapred programirano ponašanje, Milutin rešava da ponovo pokrene Nimanin operativni sistem, ali tako da ona funkcioniše samo na osnovu unosa koji su generisani njenim iskustvima sa njim. Na taj način, pretvara je u nešto najbliže pravoj osobi što android može da postane. Ali, nakon što postane osoba, Nimani zapada u depresiju i postaje destruktivna. Milutin shvata da Nimani, ne samo da je opasnost po misiju, nego i da postoji mogućnost da se samouništi.
